Amongst 123 jewelers and artists selected from all over Latinamerica, Toglla I Necklace was selected for this second bienal.
This event is a one of this kind in the region, and is an initiative by Argentinian Jewelers and the Museum of Popular Arts José Hernández. This piece is called “Toglla” (ancestral community- knot in kichwa) and is inpired by multiplicity and diversity. Merging a little re intrepretation of andean – coastal and modern-ancient relations.
